Conference 2026 – Turning the Tide

We held our first Turning the Tide conference on the 26th February at Alexander’s Court in Chester.

The event was a great success with a range of professionals attending from a whole host of organisations. 

Our speakers did a fantastic job, they were incredibly well received and gave really thought provoking presentations.

We hosted an interactive panel at the end of the conference for our speakers to take questions from the audience and this made for some interesting discussions.

The Tide premiere and the monologues films were shown and can be used as a training tool for professionals working within the family court arena to start to change the conversations around domestic abuse in the family courts.

Overall the event was a huge success and we want to thank everyone who attended, our speakers and the Her-Place team for making it such a memorable event.
